Square Back The measurement across the top of the chair needs to be greater than 13.5". The distance from the chair's seat to the top of its back must be between 12" and 19". In all cases, the thickness of the back can't exceed 1.5". Round or Curvy Back Determine where the HandySitt will be attaching to the chair (connection points). These points are 6” either side of the middle of the chair's back. Measure from the chair's seat to these connection points. This distance must measure between 12" and 19". Ladder Back Measure the distance between the 2 ladder back uprights. It needs to be greater than 12". Determine the connection points. The top rung is often too high for the HandySitt so a lower rung can be used. The space between rungs must be at least 3" in order to fit the arm hooks through. Measure from the chair's seat to the most suitable rung. This must measure between 12" and 19". So easy to set up - watch this!
